Superior Auto Collision first opened its doors in 1971. It started out as a basic auto repair shop owned and operated by Howard Mercer and has flourished into a family owned and operated business. The original garage still stands as part of the current, newly renovated body shop. In 1999 the main office and garage was built to facilitate a "one stop shop" atmosphere for clients, where the customer can have their mechanical, collision, performance and rust control needs fulfilled at a single location.
In 2010 the Superior Auto Collision Group underwent some major renovations to their body shop division. The body shop is now fully equipped with a state-of-the-art Blowtherm paint booth, paint mixing room and prep station. This provides an ideal environment for the best possible paint match when you're having your car or truck repaired.
In 2016, Superior Auto Collision added the aluminum repair shop. With the use of aluminum in most new vehicles, having specialized equipment and trained technicians was an important and necessary step for us.
The Superior Auto Collision Group is forever expanding and changing to meet the needs of today. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff would be more than happy to assist you with any questions or issues. Please feel free to call or drop by anytime. We are heavily involved in the community, supporting the Edgar Burton food drive, local sports teams in Nickel City Roller Derby and the Sudbury Wolves junior hockey team, and we sponsor the Cancer Luncheon of Hope.
